Meet Artist Chris Milk

Chris Milk is a self taught painter who lives and works in Oregon Hill, A. Using house paint and gold leaf on wood, these elements are transfigured in his hands into brilliantly colored, delicately executed mosaic-like storyboards .

The paintings become diaries and postcards that record the images, thoughts and feelings that filter through his days, capturing an essential spirit of playfulness shot with satirical undertones.
